Abstract

This book seeks to introduce and expand new management perspectives based on quantum principles in the field of sports. Quantum management, as a new paradigm, offers concepts and methods that go beyond traditional management approaches and is based on scientific foundations such as uncertainty, complexity, synergy, and dynamic interactions. The main goal of this book is to create a scientific and practical foundation for using these principles in managing sports organizations, leading teams, and making strategic decisions in the rapidly changing and unpredictable environment of sports.
1. Rapid changes and complexity in the world of sports:
Sports has become a complex industry in the present era, which is affected by various factors such as new technologies, globalization, and economic and social changes. Traditional management models alone cannot respond to these complexities and uncertainties. Quantum management, by emphasizing dynamism, flexibility, and systems thinking, provides a new tool for sports management.
2. Gap in sports management literature:
In sports management literature, interdisciplinary approaches such as quantum principles have rarely been addressed. This book can fill this gap by presenting new scientific and practical approaches and provide the basis for further research.
3. The need for creative and nonlinear decision-making in sports:
Sports organizations often operate in unpredictable conditions; from momentary decisions during competitions to managing financial and competitive crises. By encouraging creativity, transformational leadership, and capitalizing on opportunities arising from uncertainty, quantum management can help sports managers make more effective decisions.
4. The need to adapt to the era of technology and data:
Technology and big data are changing the landscape of sports. Quantum approaches that focus on complex and networked interactions can help sports managers use these tools to predict, analyze, and improve organizational performance.
5. Strengthening leadership capabilities in changing environments:
Quantum management emphasizes principles such as self-organization, synergy, and adaptation to change that are essential for effective leadership in today's sports environments. This book can help sports leaders develop these capabilities.
6. The interaction between science and sports:
Sports has always been a platform for integrating science and practice. The use of new theories such as quantum management can lead to the scientific growth of sports and provide more advanced operational models in this field.
